The Shropshire Local Plan Review will set a development strategy to 2038. This includes the allocation of Cressage as a community hub for circa 80 dwellings. The Pre-Submission (Reg 18) draft of the Local Plan is currently out for consultation. The parish council has produced a summary newsletter on the Local Plan which can be downloaded below.

You can have your say by:

· Submitting your comments to Shropshire Council by 30th Sep 2020, 5pm (see comments form attached to this leaflet)  or comment online at

The Parish Council has also compiled a survey to find out residents’ views—please  respond to this by 9th September 2020 (please only respond once)

Please note that the parish council survey is not part of the formal Local Plan consultation and responses will not be directly forwarded to Shropshire Council. If you want your comment(s) to be logged and considered formally as part of the Local Plan Review, it is vital that you respond direct to the Shropshire Council consultation as well -
